Individualized Dietary Interventions for Postnatal Recovery with Registered Dietitian

You are going through significant physical and emotional changes, and in the midst of the madness of being a new parent, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and even a little bit lonely. With a million new responsibilities, it’s likely the last thing on your mind is cooking a nourishing meal and eating it hot.

A woman’s body goes through some radical changes in a short period of time. Fertility, conception, pregnancy, and delivering a baby — whether by C-section or vaginally — is hard, hard, hard. After giving birth, a woman’s body hurts … everywhere. The exhaustion is real. Hormone fluctuations cause everything from baby blues to postpartum depression and thyroiditis. Women experience constipation, urinary incontinence, blood glucose swings, and more.

A diet plan developed by a Dietitian Nutritionist can be an integral part of recovery after birth and your post-delivery wellness. Together, we will create an individualized eating plan (that is not overwhelming) that will support healing. We’ll give you tips to enjoy nutrient-packed, easy-to-manage meals. We will empower you with the tools you need to make food choices that will help improve your energy levels, help you sleep better (even if it is in snippets while the baby sleeps), boost your breast milk production, and feel like you again.

Keeping your body healthy is the best way to support your baby’s health as well. An individualized postnatal diet plan will give you the confidence to choose the best, healthiest foods for wellness and, eventually, lose your pregnancy weight, and sustain a healthy weight. Our team of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists is here for you — to create the best diet plan for you and your baby.

Individualized dietary interventions can help! We find that a minimum of three sessions are typically needed for optimal results. Therefore, we offer a discounted package of 3-sessions. This package has a total value of $495. Grab it for $395. We will customize the session spacing for your needs, but the typical spacing is 3 – 4 weeks between sessions. Sessions must be used within 6 months.

There are two phases in postpartum thyroiditis – thyrotoxicosis followed by hypothyroidism. And......

  • Pregnancy and childbirth are incredible. A woman grows an organ (the placenta) and a baby, in her body. The changes women’s bodies undergo during this time are phenomenal. While pregnant, women have numerous doctor’s visits. Prenatal checkups. Sonograms. Blood sugar tests. Blood tests and more. It’s like her calendar fills up with doctor’s checkups. Postpartum, new moms usually only have one or two visits. (Two is stretching it). This is concerning, as all women experience......
