Control blood sugar levels and reduce risk of complications during pregnancy and labor with a gestational diabetes nutrition plan. Improve your baby’s health. Maintain a healthy weight. Understand how to test your sugar levels. Learn about which foods to avoid and best snack ideas.
According to the CDC, 2 – 10% of all pregnancies are affected by gestational diabetes. It’s a pretty remarkable number and incredibly common, but any woman who is at risk for developing gestational diabetes or diagnosed with it should always consult with her primary caregiver and ObGyn.
Complications with gestational diabetes that directly affect the mother include a risk of developing high blood pressure and preeclampsia, as well as putting the mother at risk for future diabetes.
Complications with a gestational diabetes diagnosis for your baby include a higher birth weight (increasing the risk of having to have a C-section), developing diabetes later in life, early delivery and more.
The numbers on that glucose test can be daunting. Many women and couples feel anxious going through the three-hour sugar test followed by a gestational diabetes diagnosis. That said, most women’s blood sugar levels can be controlled by diet and exercise. A meal plan developed for you and your baby may be the key on how to prevent and avoid going on medication as well as developing more serious complications.
As an expert pregnancy nutritionists, our goal is to empower you to make the right food choices to manage your blood sugar levels, maintain a healthy pregnancy weight, and keep you and your baby healthy. Give your baby a the head start they deserve with a healthy pregnancy, and keep your glucose levels under control.

During fertility and pregnancy, a woman’s nutritional needs are so unique. Learning to manage gestational diabetes with nutrition is not as intimidating as it may sound. We find that a minimum of three sessions are typically needed for optimal results (depending on the stage of pregnancy). That said, because of the body’s changing needs from the first trimester to postpartum, we offer an array of discounted services, which includes access to meal plans, follow-up appointments and more.
Therefore, we offer a discounted package of 3-sessions PLUS. This package has a total value of $495. Grab it for $395. We will customize the session spacing for your needs, but the typical spacing is 3- 4 weeks between sessions. Sessions must be used within 6 months.
